While larger landscape companies may not want to spend time on a small project, we are more than happy to work with you to meet your custom landscape needs. We pride ourselves in providing high end landscapes at affordable prices. We put the emphasis on the plants themselves, using only the highest quality products and plants in each and every landscape. We focus on plant health and use our extensive knowledge of horticulture and vegetation to select plants that will thrive in each area of your landscape. We design and install beautiful landscapes and provide training that enables you to care for your landscape properly. Additionally, we offer routine landscape maintenance plans to keep your plants and landscape in tip-top shape.

Schultes Horticulture and Landscape, LLC is owned and operated by Josh Schultes. Josh started working in the lawn care business at a young age and has been in the green industry for over 15 years. He is an ISA Certified Arborist (IW-0008A) and Horticulturist. Josh received his Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in landscape design from Iowa State University. In his early career, Josh worked as a horticulturist at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden where he maintained various gardens, started a tree care program, and educated the public on best gardening practices. Josh first started his work as an independent landscape contractor in 2008, and after years of designing and installing stunning landscapes, he launched his very own company in 2018. He is excited to apply his knowledge and passion for horticulture in combination with his strong work ethic to transform your yard into the beautiful landscape of your dreams.
